Dr. Lei Xia

Dr. Lei Xia is the Laboratory Director at Harmony Fertility and a Senior Embryologist with over 27 years of experience in assisted reproductive technology. Her work is grounded in hands-on laboratory practice and long-term oversight of IVF systems.
Dr. Xia holds a Ph.D. and previously led IVF laboratories in academic hospital settings, where she was responsible for laboratory operations, staff training, and procedure standardization. Since relocating to Canada in 2012, she has continued working within Canadian fertility clinics with a strong focus on laboratory performance and safety.
At Harmony Fertility, Dr. Xia oversees how laboratory systems are implemented and maintained on a daily basis, ensuring that protocols, equipment, and workflows function reliably together as an integrated whole.
